The New FaithHealth Magazine is HERE.

The Fall 2016 FaithHealth Magazine focuses on “Connectors.” These heroes have a unique mix of expertise — knowledge of community resources, respect and trust within the community, and most of all, the desire to serve.

  • Connection is Medicine: A Discovery for 21st Century Health, by Gary Gunderson
  • FaithHealth Connector June Britt: ‘He gives me the strength to reach out and help’
  • FaithHealth Connector Tommy Cole: ‘I see a lot of what we call social isolation’
  • FaithHealth Connector Tembila Covington: ‘Able to bring some sort of hope’

There are currently 29 FaithHealth Connectors in 19 counties of North Carolina. As of September 2016 these connectors and affiliated FaithHealth volunteer have had 1,300 caregiving encounters, 1134 hours in caregiving service and 311 congregational partners. See who’s a connector in your county.
