We are excited to finally host the virtual book release of our second, shorter Stakeholder Health See2See Inland Sea Road Trip book, along with a few key leaders that we met along the way, at our next FaithHealth Grand Rounds on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at 9 a.m. on Zoom (see link below).
We’ll share high points of the patterns we saw along the way and hear more details about the work of the Huntington, West Virginia’s Quick Response Team (QRT), who halved the number of opioid overdoses and significantly decreased opioid deaths within a few short years. We’ll also hear about an employee owner cooperative group, Evergreen Cooperative, who are doing outstanding work, partnering with local Cleveland health systems, universities and businesses, to improve the quality of life in an underserved area and offer economic and workforce stability to many who had no access before. Their social impact investing in community by health systems and other business partners is a great model. We’ll also probe how COVID-19 has impacted the work of these fine partners.
